a new TV pilot script: CREAM CITY
CREAM CITY is a new TV pilot script I’ve co-written with my friend and fellow Milwaukeean Jeffrey James Keyes. CREAM CITY is a story set in our hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1982. Doran, a closeted gay priest, defies his faith and family when he begins a journey of self-discovery. While on that path, he collides with Frank, the openly gay owner of Cream City, a beloved neighborhood gay bar that’s at risk of going out of business.
CREAM CITY has been accumulating awards and honors in recent months, including being named a finalist with the Omaha Film Festival, a semifinalist with the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and reaching the second round at the Austin Film Festival.
